Statistics about Rape

Real World issues-Rape

Hey people x
This is a group project about Rape and it's surrounding controversies and ideas. We hope to post our ideas, findings, research and many more other information that will not only interest but edcuate us all about the problem. We would be glad if you gave us as many ideas as possible concerning the topic. And you can be sure we will be willingly to respond to your question, comments, enquires and more
Still wondering why it's even an issue?
"In January 2012, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Home office released its first ever joint official statistics bulletin on sexual violence, entitled An Overview of sexual offending in England and Wales. It reported that:
  • Approximately 85,000 women are raped on average in England and Wales every year
  • Over 400,000 women are sexually assaulted each year
  • 1 in 5 women (aged 16 - 59) has experienced some form of sexual violence since the age of 16.
And it's much worse in developing countries.
Still not sure if it's a problem? or doubting how serious the problem is? or you're just curious?
Feel free to watch this video below.

Have a great day x
